Volunteer

As a nonprofit organization, we are not able to afford paid labor. Therefore, we rely so much on donations and volunteers to keep our mission to help the less fortunate in the community going.

Registration for Individual Volunteers
For first-time volunteers, you’ll be asked to create a login and password when you sign up for your first shift on our volunteer registration system. So, make sure you store your login information safely for future use. Once you’ve been registered, you can log in, select your shift and a confirmation email will be sent to you. For returning volunteers, you only need to log in, select a shift and wait for the confirmation email.
Volunteer Projects
Each shift lasts for about three hours depending on the projects. Each volunteer project may include but is not limited to:
  • Cleaning and packaging food items for distribution.
  • Inspecting, sorting, boxing, and labeling food donations
  • Assembling food packages for our Senior Food Program, Hunger Relief Program, End Student Hunger and Emergency Food Assistance Program.
Register As Group of Less Than 5 Volunteers
If you have a group of fewer than five people, each volunteer must register as an individual. If you sign up for the same date and shift time, you will still be able to work together. Just click on the button below and share the registration URL with your groupmates.
Who Can Volunteer?
We need help from volunteers in our warehouse, food pantry and at our events. Anyone who is 11-year-old or older could become a volunteer. Training is NOT required and there are no time commitments. You’re free to volunteer one time or on a regular basis.

Children below the ages of 11 can’t volunteer. Children ages 11 to 15 MUST be accompanied by at least one adult for every four children volunteering.

All volunteers must be registered for the shift before arrival. We cannot accept walk-ins.

Can’t make it? Please give us 24 hours’ notice, so we can fill your volunteer slot(s).
