Education Support Center

Utility
Assistance
Program
Let us help one another.
Education Support Center understands the hardships and challenges every citizen in our community faces. It is during this time that we wanted to reach out and extend our helping hands. Although we wanted to help everyone, our resources are limited too. We make sure that we prioritize those who are in dire need of assistance. Therefore, we set some eligibility requirements for every recipient of the program. We carefully investigate their financial status and credibility as well as the name under which the utility bill is named under. Our staff will do the screening to make sure that everything will go well. We will closely look into our client every step of the process as we guide them on getting back on track. Every step and plan of our clients will be saved in detail on our database. We will contact them and encourage sharing their daily experiences as they go by day by day. We will monitor their life success and failures along the way. Once a client completed our screening and requirements, a staff will be assigned to their case and from there, they will receive the utility assistance needed. The staff will go through the life changing process with the client helping him along the way. We help them plan and even help them look for a job if needed. If ESC is unable to further assist a client, we refer and help them reach out to 2-1-1 or sandiego.org.
